Our Trip to California

This is my Mom and Sophie and Sam lugging their suitcases through the airport. Thanks Mom for helping us go on this great vacation. We had a lot of fun and were glad that you were there with us! We love you.
Here we are on the plane. The kids were so excited...and a bit nervous. But we were all anxious to get to California. When the plane finally took off Sam was so excited that he was squeeling like a little pig. Cute kids!

This is a parade that we saw the first day that we were in Disneyland..it was actually in California Adventure and it was so cute!! Sam loved the soldiers that are in Toy Story. We saw them almost every morning when we came into the park and he thought that they were so cool. There were also Nemo, Monsters Inc., Cars, Ratatouille, and lots of others characters in the parade. The colors are so bright and fun and the music that they play is so happy. They also had bubble machines going during the parade so there were bubbles everywhere. It was a lot of fun.
We gave Sophie and Sam each a disposable camera to use while they were in Disneyland and during this parade they wanted to take pictures so I gave them their cameras and at the end of the parade Sam had 3 pictures ...yes 3 pictures left and this was the first day. Needless to say I think that he thought it was pretty awesome. I haven't developed the pictures yet, but hopefully at least a few of them turned out.

This is a picture of Alice in Wonderland playing Ring Around the Rosies with the kids. We were supposed to have dinner at Goofy's Kitchen this night but it got canceled until the next night, but we still got to see some of the characters. Sam and Sophie were so excited to see Chip and Dale. They were the first characters that we saw and Sam was laughing and clapping so much it was so cute I wish that I would have gotten it on video.

Me and my Mom giving Pluto a little smooch.

This was the next night at Goofy's kitchen meeting the Chef.

We had to have a family picture with Pooh Bear.

Alla and FlikSophie and Sam have been saving there allowance to be able to get some souveniers at Disneyland. They each had $25 to spend. They both had a hard time deciding what they wanted to spend their money on but after much shopping and thought they each decided on a hat. I think that they made great choices. They both look so cute in them.
This is Sophie posing on Minnie's bed. She had gotten her face painted like a cat so that is what the paint is all about.

Minnie's kitchen

Goofy's Playhouse. It was actually closed because it was so hot...just a mere 102 degrees on this day. Yes it was very hot!!

Meeting Mickey at his house.

The dreaded tea cups. I say dreaded because Keith and I both get sick on all the rides. Well, somehow I got chosen to go on this one...twice. Keith refused, but it was actually kind of fun.
