Trig's Update

Trig is doing better each day and currently his surgery is scheduled for Monday. Things change according to scheduling of heart surgeons and Trig's health. A Dr. told me that the hospital sees approx. fifty heart problems a day and so it is hard to schedule the 4 surgeons. Also F.Y.I., the doctors see about five Tranposition of the Great Arteries patients per month. They wean Trig off most of the medicines and get rid of most of the tubes by surgery and then after surgery he gets them all back and quite a few extra. Trig has become quite puffy the last few days from all of the medicine that is being put into him and he tried to open his eyes yesterday and I am sure he felt much like Mike Tyson does after one of his bouts. And as a matter of fact he even resembeled Mike a little. Today Jamie is getting out of the hospital and we are moving the family up to S.L.C. for the next month or two so we can all be together. You just never know when life is going to make a quick turn on you and it is then, that you realize that our Heavenly Father is truly in control.
