Keith's Graduation (YIPPEEEE!!)

Last Friday Keith graduated from UVU. It was definitely a day to celebrate!! Keith has been going to school for 4 1/2 years. Sophie was 3 when he started and Sam was 6 months so the kids don't know anything different than Keith being in school. For more than half the time that Keith was going to school he went to school full time and also worked full time so we didn't see him as much as we wanted. The last few semesters he wasn't able to work full time because of his school schedule so he was home more which was nice but A LOT of that time was spent at his desk doing homework. Keith is such a hard worker! He is one of those people that once he starts something he can't stop until it is finished and perfect. We like to call it OCD, but it is actually a great quality to have especially while being in school :)

I have to say that we are looking forward to the next phase in our lives together. When Keith started school we sold our house so that we could afford for Keith to not work as much. I did odd little jobs like paper routes, cherries (we live in an orchard town), tend kids, and sell Avon. We bought a twin home with a smaller payment and everything has just worked out perfectly. We actually just sold our twin home and are looking for a house to buy. I am so proud of Keith for just getting in and getting done with school. I know he will be a FANTASTIC teacher!! Congratulations Honey!! I love You!!!
Look at that smile, I think it says it all!!

Keith, Steve and Heidi. These are two of Keith classmates. I am sure on most days they saw him a lot more than the kids and I did.

That was so sweet of you guys to think of us and it was really nice to get away for a little while. Truly, you are so thoughtful and I really appreciate it! Does Keith have a teaching job lined up now?

  6. Congrats to Keith and you. I hope he enjoys it after all his hard work. Sometimes I wish Greg was still teaching and so does he. He liked it a lot. I hope Keith can get on at a school in your area and you don't have to move like we did! Good luck with the job hunt!
