Deer Hunt

We hadn't gone camping all summer so we decided to borrow my Dad's trailer and go camping for the deer hunt. I was a little worried about how it would be camping in the cold with a 1 year old but it was actually pretty fun. The weather was nice during the day so we carved pumpkins, played in the river and went on a hike. Sophie, Trig and I only stayed over one night, so we weren't there for the actual hunting bit...fine by me and Sophie!!

I forgot to bring shoes for Trig so I decided to put his play pen up and let him play in it. It worked for a little while as you can see he thought it was great at first but then he wanted to get out and run around.

We also forgot to bring the hiking backpack for Trig so Keith improvised and put Trig in his hunting backpack. It actually worked better thatn I thought it would.

I think this picture is so funny. Sophie is posing right in front of Sam.
